Spicy-Crispy Nachos


1 T vegetable oil

1 lbs Skillet-Ready Ground Walnut

1 1/2 T taco seasoning

2 T water

1 large bag of tortilla chips

1 tomato, diced

2-3 jalapenos, sliced

1 red onion, diced

1 bag of shredded plant based cheddar or taco blend cheese


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet under medium-low heat. Add Skillet-Ready Ground Walnut and cook for about 7 minutes and stir occasionally.

  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Mix and simmer until water has absorbed or about 7 minutes. Remove from heat.

  4. Layer tortilla chips in on a large baking tray or in a casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese, taco meat, tomato, jalapenos and onion over tortilla chips.

  5. Bake until cheese has melted or about 10 mins.

  6. Enjoy!
